You can put windows on the ends of corridors as well, to make a rounded half bubble to look out of. Windows will lower your base HP, but you should be finding lithium soon (or already have) and Reinforcment plates give back a big chunk of base HP per panel (Though you can't put them on glass halls). As a decorative heads up, when you eventually unlock observation rooms they can only have a one way horizontal entrance (really wish I could cap the top of a Multipurpose room with one.)
